Now before the search button **** chimes in, I have read just about every article covering this issue on the site. I bought my car used and it appears somewhere in its earlier ownership, interior cleaner was sprayed on the gauge cluster. It almost looks like hard water spots. I have tried carnuba wax, soap and water solution, PlastX by Meguiars and none of them worked. With that being said, is there anyone who went through this same ordeal and found a solution. I'd imagine there is a professional out there who knows how to get it done. I just do not know who to call or what to ask to find someone with said skills. Thanks in advance.

Try Rain-X, it usually works wonders on hard water spots.

I'm surprised PlastX didn't work. What type of applicator are you using? Guys in the detailing section might have an answer.

Usually on exterior house windows a mixture of water and vinegar get out water stains.
+1 on checking out in the Detailing section...get back to us
