Default Removing scuff marks

What product would you recommend to remove dark scuff marks on light vinyl? There are a couple below the glove compartment in the air bag compartment area (see picture) as well as on the bottom of the driver's door. Also, any favorite protectants to prevent future scuffs once I get this cleaned? Thank you for your advice!

I use a little bit of paint thinner on a microfiber towel. Dont scrub too much though because the paint will eventually discolor or come off. Just using it for that mark should be no problem

The safer way would just be some leather/vinyl cleaner and a brush

I recommend using these products: Optimum Power Clean or Blackfire Interior Cleaner.

I've used Griots Interior Cleaner for years and it works just fine for things like this. Not too strong, not too weak, and no dilution, etc required. A little bit goes a long way -- my bottle is years old by now.

I'd imagine paint thinner to have a bad effect on that piece of material. Most interior cleaners should make quick work of that mark. I use Optimum Power Clean myself or ZEP Citrus Degreaser. Both are diluted of course
