Default Car got hit back bumper *Help*

Long story short F-150 backed up and hit the back bumper. How do I fix it?
I heard buffing it will work but what are the steps and product do I need?

a Random orbital polisher and some compound should help a lot. Probably wont get rid of it all, but it will look better.

Any indent wont be removed from using the buffer. If you got the information of the guy, take him through his insurance and get it fixed properly

Look closely for spider cracks in the plastic. If so, you may need to do something beyond polishing (ie remove bumper, sand down a bit and repaint). Expect the costs would be around $500-$600?
