porter cable 7424xp

blacklight (1coat)

wet mirror finish (1 coat)

tires and wheels washed with CGEBW and ZAINO-CS clear on wheels, CGTG on tires

wiped down with hybrid V7

 

tomorrow maybe wax

 

pulled her out of the garage and she's got dust on her already.

this obsidian is like working overtime. it's going to be a ***** trying to keep her this way. but i'm like that with all my cars,,,, love to keep them clean, scratch and swirl free.

I used WMF this spring for the first time and am also delighted with the results. I topped it with pure carnuba which gave that clean mirror finish a nice warm glow

Truth. I don't miss my G35 due to this reason. Nothing looks sexier IMO, but man... maintenance on black paint... you'd better be ready to wash daily practically haha... so worth it though!

my first black car i'm staying on top of her though. i like the challenge. i'm going to take her to phil at DD so he can apply some opti-coat and or aquartz. then i won't have to worry to much about clear scratches and swirls. it's been hotter than a witches draws here,,,, i'm hoping for some rain.
