What is a good wax for the Starfire Pearl?

 

I prefer the look of a sealant on white. A couple good ones are Ultima Paint guard plus (3 layers) or Blackfire Wet diamond and Crystal seal.

As for a sealant I use wolfgang deep gloss

 

Chemical Guys J97 WAX,,,,, Chemical Guys JetSeal 109 Sealant.

 

Reflection is the thing on white and lighter colored cars so don't skimp on the polishing steps. Once you've finessed the paint to its maximum gloss, apply a sealant. Sealants generally offer a slightly higher degree of reflectivity than carnaubas and don't tend to darken the paint.

There are many good sealants to choose from depending on your expectations and budget.

For inexpensive NXT v2 looks good but has a short life. Zaino looks good and lasts a long time. You may also want to consider a coating like C-quartz or OptiCoat 2.0.

yes sir,,, it's a great wax... actually i got mine for free. he can go with CG Hardcore XXX or Lava Or Butter Wet Wax. they're all good waxes.

 

Everyone needs to remember that proper prep will enhance the effect of the wax or sealant. LSPs probably won't do much against an oxidized version of Starfire Pearl so make sure you do it right for best effects OP! It'll ensure maximum durability as well

 

The cheap wax that works the best is "Nu-finish" It will be at most any Wal-Mart.
