I use adams VRT for my tires. It doesn't give a high gloss but a medium one which I prefer.

There's only one product I use on my tires:

Cheap, readily avaialble, leaves a nice shine, and isn't greasy!

I used to be a big fan of the gel-based dressings, but they always left the tire nasty and were a pain in the *** to clean.

I can't recall ever seeing this product. Does anyone know if it comes in a gel form instead of a spray can?

I believe it comes in either an aerosol or a trigger spray.

what about good old fashioned vegetable oil? that puts a real nice glossy finish and doesn't smell too bad. it's cheaper than olive oil or motor oil too.

Besides the fact that it probably would attract insects, it is an oil that doesn't dry. It would likely sling and since it doesn't dry it would grab and hold dust and dirt. Every time you drive in a gravel road or driveway you would have whitewalls of dust stuck to the tire.

I like a tire dressing that dries.

Turtle Wax Tire Wax is the only thing I have found yet that does not end up on the side of the car. Smells good too

I'd say if your not looking for that complete wet look check out Adams products u use a sponge pad and rub it into the tire leaves a clean like new satin appearance as well as dry to the touch as soon as you apply it so sling is not a problem. Highly recommend it! also works awesome over any other exterior rubber trim especially on faded parts.

I picked up a can of this a week ago at a AutoZone and used it. I guess I was expecting more in terms of how long lasting the shine would be. When I washed my car yesterday, I decided to spray the Meguiar's NXT first, then apply the tire gel after. Looks better and I'll see how long the shine lasts. I love how the Meguiar's NXT comes out of the can when applying it on the tires.

I just started using Poorboy's Bold N' Bright and I'm very happy so far. Nice semi-gloss finish with two applications and ZERO sling-off, I think it's the only one I've used that hasn't got anything on the car or wheels. I can't say anything about durability yet but I reapply frequently anyway and am not real worried about it lasting more than a week.
