Default Quick Detailing Question

Ok, so I just did steps 1-5 the other day:

1. Wash with a good car washing soap. (i.e.Meg's Gold Class or NXT Car Wash)
2. Clay the paint, glass and wheels. (Any brand clay kit and lubricant)
3. Clean with a paint cleaner. (Try Meg's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner)
4. Polish with a pure polish or glaze. (Try Meg's Deep Crystal Polish)
5. Wax with your choice of carnauba wax or sealant.

To maintain the nice clean look of my car I should do steps 1-5 twice a year, wash it (step 1 only) once a week or every other week, and use a quick detailer every day or every other day. Does that sound about right? Thanks!

Yes, but personally depending on how much you drive and where you park, I would not use a quick detailer every day unless they are very light dust. Once the car is out on the street you. Ever know when there is a piece of rock on the body and once t gets stuck in the microfiber towel during quick detailing, you'll be scratching the hell out of the paint. Personally, I would just wash it once a week or use a waterless car wash if you want to do a quick cleaning every day. Also, I would use a spray wax after every wash to boost the freshly waxed look and keep the wax on the car longer. Hope this helps!

Polish and glaze are two different things. Polish is for paint correction and glaze is just a filler. I am a huge fan of waterless washes. You can also look at a rinseless wash like ONR...good stuff.

To maintain your hard work simply use wax spray after the each wash. Optimum works well on light colored paint or easy to use Chemical Guys V7. They both give sleek wet shine finish. I even use it on plastic, window trims and glass.
