Default MATPROTECTOR

The company is called The Car Mat Protector Corp., P.O. Box 83-3842, Hollywood, FL 33083-3842, and its President is Gifford T. Williams.

The website was http://matprotector.com when I dealt with them on 5/17/2002, however, I attempted that tonight and it is not working. You may want to call them at (888) 205-7700.

Their product is GREAT to say the least. I paid $49.00 plus $8.50 shipping/handling. My factory mats are sealed in them and still brand new.

Good luck.

Just purchased the OEM all-weather mats....rain season in WA....I personally would not put the all weather mats on top of the carpet ones...It states on the ticket attatched to the OEM AWM not to put them on top of each other....the gas pedal can get caught on the mats.

After negotiating the all-weather mats in the sale, the first thing I do when I take possession, is take out the carpeted mats, and use the a-w ones until I sell the car, at which time I replace them with the still new standard mats. Never found much point in putting carpeted mats on top of new carpets. The a-w mats are great for catching spills, protecting from wet shoes and mud, and are darn easy to hose off.

OEM carpet floormats. So Cal winter weather is the same as summer, only about 10 degrees cooler.

I'm primarily the only one in my car so all I did was got one of those thick mats for the driver's side which has the deep grooves all over to catch water and snow melt from my boots and shoes. Other then that, I have the OEM Lexus black carpeted mats.

I bought two clear chairmats from staples ($15 each), they are studded for carpet, and cut them to exactly match the shape of the original floormats. $30 and 20 minutes of work, and the result is great, they fit perfectly, (unlike exactmats that I used before), cost less than anything else, and material is nice, thick, and heavy, they don't slide around at all.
