^This is a pic from Saturday. The car has not been washed in about 4 days. I'll let the gloss speak for itself.
As far as protection, the car still beads water very well. I have also applied 22ple VX1 Pro to my wife's car and it is doing well there too.
I will be removing 22ple from my own car sometime in the next couple of months in order to try out a new coating.... this is NOT because I am unhappy with 22ple - I just like to try new products.

Idk if you can judge reliability from only owning a car for 1-2 years at a time lol... glad you like them enough to keep buying them though!
I agree, the 2014's look like a very nice upgrade from the 2IS in terms of features and appearance. Glad to see you are having it taken care of properly.

I'm interested in 22ple but I have 2 coats of hard body. Is it ok to apply 22ple in top of hard body? Or should I remove it first. How would I go about removing hard body for 22ple application?

In order to remove a coating, the vehicle would need to be machine polished.

To ensure proper removal of a coating, it is recommended the paint be thoroughly polished.

I know this thread is about 22ple, but just another piece of data: I've read of bonding failures with the Gtechniq products when CarPro Eraser was used for the wipe-down. It was thought that it leaves something behind that interferes with the Gtechniq products' bonding. I used their panel wipe after machine polishing (no wash step) and that has worked fine. Prep-sol is also an approved cleaner for wipe-down before applying Gtechniq products.

I know there are a lot of claims of "this caused this" in the detailing world, but I would be interested to know what sort of proof lead to the conclusion that Eraser was the cause of the coating failure. Just seems odd to me, but I am not a Gtechniq user so I guess it is a non-issue to me.
