It's 19.99 for the 4oz set, I didn't want to spend $34 on the 16oz and be disappointed.
Even the 4oz bottles seem like they last forever depending on use.
thanks man...

nice job Yoan! the lip looks awesome

i really want to try those Adam's polish but im not sure if my wheels are clear coated or not

is there another way to determine besides buying the polish and then testing for black residue? i dont want to buy the metal polish that doesn't work with the wheels and spend extra to buy the revive polish instead.

Thanks brother!

If you aren't going to be taking the wheels apart I highly suggest you use p21s wheel cleaner FIRST, because it is the safest cleaner out there. Even if your lips ARE clear coated, p21s wont damage them.

Once you have the wheels cleaned up, go buy a metal polish and try it out for black residue, pep boys will let you return it if you let them know its not the correct product and just need the right one. I dont know any other way of checking sorry!

Vroomin350 really awesome results on the polishing!

It is very addictive and tiring too.

For those a bit apprehensive on sanding out deeper scratches, this stuff works pretty well and smells bad LOL: http://www.gliptone.com/Metal_Polish.html

I used it on a set of CE28's I had on my old car (sorry I don't have pics).

Be warned, the coarse grit solution is pretty strong; you can actually see the grit in the solution.

BTW Vroomin350, be careful on using that Meguiars Aluminum wheel cleaner. The cleaner doesn't specifically say it's safe for painted surfaces. I personally used it to clean my former Evo and I noticed it ate away at my Evo's red Brembo paint.

That wheel on that bottle looks familiar too.......

Did you buy the blue block sponge/applicator things and the microfiber clothes in the ziplock bag separately?

Thanks

It really is a rewarding feeling once you can see the reflection of your boogers on the metal

There is a kit that comes with the two towels and two applicators. I bought extra blue applicators.

Perfect thank you.

How were those applicators? Would you use something different next time? Was working with the cube shape awkward?

Thanks!

They are very soft.. The shape was easy to use but I dont see one lasting more than 1 wheel. I would say each wheel you will need two. 1 for step#1 and another for step#2.

Very good to know! I appreciate it!

Did you seal the wheels after the polishing?

Personally I chose not to seal them. I've read online it takes away a little bit of the shine once you do. I am ok with giving them a light polish once or twice/week. Then again I dont have snow in my area, if I did I would of sealed them.

I'm probably being a pain by now with all of these questions...sorry

What do you plan on washing the wheels with during a regular car wash day?
Are your faces clear coated?

sorry man never saw this thread get bumped again

I ordered a bottle of p21s wheel cleaner (many many many companies stand by this product). Safest and best cleaner you can go with. If your wheels are clear coated or not this cleaner will not harm ANY finish.
