Default new owner, scratches and swirls in clear coat...

bought on 12/23/12, after dark, found some scratches and swirls in the clear coat. refused delivery, but took delivery today 12/24/12. with agreement they would detail in Jan.

-dealer is crazy busy, and want full staff and no rush jobs.

should I even let them touch this car? am I better off doing it myself. reading scratchX is good for clear coat.

-new member, still working my way around here, but would appreciate some help.

TIA!

(also how can I add my car to either my signature, or the garage (what is a garage? personal uploaded pics?)
ES300h black exterior. (shows everything! )

also planning on de-badging the hybrid metal decal on rear doors.

assume this is 3m tape? (hair dryer, wd40 and dental floss)

anyone debadge their hybrid (2013 es300h)

its not actually drilled/screwed is it....

Some dealers are good, some are bad. I'm slated to train my personal selected staff soon at my dealer. Why not ask them if they'll give you money for a detailer of your choice?

As for your SIG adjustments, go to "User CP" at the top menu bar and you'll see "Edit Signature" on the left of the new loaded page

Do this. The dealership I work at I scarcely trust to wash my car. I've seen their details and it's horrid, I saw a car that was supposed to have had a paint correction, and their were still bugs on the front bumper and swirls all over the paint.

i would attempt what eyezack87 said... see if they'll pay for a detailer of your choice. if not then do it yourself. like eyezack87 stated... some dealers are good and some are not. do you want to take that chance ? i have an obsidian 2013 GS F Sport, i detailed my own car. i took it off the lot as is.
