You do not want to use toothpaste. You're just introducing more marring into the paint. Use products designed for that particular use.

What product would you recommend? It was a one time thing and i learned my lesson, so i wont have to do it ever again. It did work is all im sayin, and i dont see any visible damage from the toothpaste at least. I washed my car and gave it a nice hand waxing today and its looking amazing.

Literally every company that makes car cleaning prodicts makes a hand applied scratch remover. Meguiars Scratch X, Scratch Out, it goes on and on.
