Holy crap, that hood is amazing. I want. Where do I buy that stuff?

And what exact bottle is that? Can you take a pic of the bottle?

While the 22ple does add to the appearance, the most important part is the prep work. Remember that my hood was completely corrected prior to applying the 22ple (as any car should be), so applying this to a vehicle that has not had the prior prep would be 1) a waste of money and 2) would not offer the same results.

I bought a 30mL bottle, but a 20mL bottle would have sufficed.

this is true, 20ml. would have sufficed, i still have 1/4 of the 30ml. bottle left after 2 applications.

I am tempted to apply Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 and 22 ple to my new 2013 RX, but I am afraid I will mess everything up. How hard is it for a rookie to apply this stuff? Any special equipment needed? Any special technique?

There is no reason to apply 2 coatings? Simply one or the other. Anyone can apply the coatings, however the prep work is the harder part... however with the right attitude and time, anyone can learn to do the prep work as well.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is DI?
