the polishing is done... paint is perfect. after Phil sent the pic he applied the 22PLE. won't have the results until morning, then he's going to add a second coat. will update 2morrow.

When I first glanced at the picture I though, "oh, what a clean garage". Now I see it's the car! Don't see how it can look any better

 

i agree Phil and the fellas @Detailers Domain are the truth. the look is amazing, but i'm looking for the long term protection.

 

Syd, you're killing me. Now that you switched me to Hardbody I'm afraid to look at your car after the 22PLE. You're a fanatic when it comes to taking care of your car so I hope this does it for you.

 

i really like Hard Body... don't get me wrong. i'll post a pic of what my brother did to my perfect finish. i researched the 22PLE and deemed that it was a stronger coating. even though he will never get his hands on my car again. hard body is a great product, but i felt I should try the 22PLE, and yes i am a fanatic, but i can't help it.

 

don't know why the 1st pic is not available. this is a teaser of 1 coat of 22PLE after it dried and now the 2nd coat is going on.

There is no added benefit for a second coat of 22ple, however I went ahead and added a 2nd coat on all horizontal surfaces to ensure complete coverage.

that's the reason for the 2nd coat on my car... even coverage. your car was one of the reasons i chose 22PLE, i read the write up you did on DI, at least i think it was DI. anyway i liked the results (your car looks amazing BTW) and decided that's the coating i wanted to to go with. there were a few coats of hard body on my car before i switched to the PLE.

Yup, I posted a write up (a link to my site) on DI. Glad it was helpful! And glad you also know someone who can save you some money there. Wholesale pricing makes it much easier to fork over some cash for high quality products such as this.

Yup, I applied the first coat around 3PM on a Saturday.... second coat at around 10PM.... then I let it sit in the garage overnight, and the entire next day simply because I did not need to go anywhere.
