Default how to Clean headliner ?

My car was at the shop getting worked on. i got it back only to notice a black handprint on my headliner. im guessing one of the techs got int he car and touched the tan headliner. Its disgusting looking.

How can i clean it without ruining the headliner.

Thank you

try folex. It's odorless and doesn't need to be rinsed. You can get it for less than $10 at HD

spray it generously on a terry cloth towel and make short strokes in one direction, trying not to spread the stain out further. Flip to a clean area of the towel frequently. You can widen the area once the majority of the stain is gone. Let it dry then check against the rest of the liner.

Depending on how dirty the rest of the liner is, you may have to do the whole thing so you don't have a clean spot that stands out as much as the original stain.

You don't want to saturate the headliner or you risk delamination. Lexus liner's are pretty thick so the risk is low but it's something to always keep in mind when cleaning headliners.

Noone likes a saggy headliner...

wet it with warm water then squeeze it out. There should be instructions for general use on the box

Your car's headliner is made of many fabrics and styles, so cleaning it might make you pause. Cleaning your car's headliner from persistent stains that have accumulated over time requires steaming, brushing, vacuuming, and polishing.
