Hi all! So I'll be picking up my 300h on Friday, then its straight to the detail shop for the all important first detailing, sealant application, window tinting and PPF install.

My question is: What sealants can be used OVER XPEL Ultimate PPF? I know that XPEL has their own sealant product, but I don't see anywhere on their website where it explicitly states that their sealant can be used on paints. There is a small statement on the actual label on their product that says its safe for paint, however no where else does it state that.

I don't want to mess either up and I'm looking for recommendations from those in the know!

I already tried to email their tech support, but they did not state what other brands of sealants would be ok to use on their PPF.

Thanks for any wisdom and advice you can impart.

I would not coat the film with anything. I would use opticoat or another coating on the rest of the car after an initial polishing to remove any defects.

For a sealant you could try chemical guys jet seal 109
