so i used sonax wheel cleaner, worked like a charm, but i missed some spots and now there marks around the rim(brake dust) that i'm having a hard time getting off with soap and water as it's dried onto the rim.
what is best thing to use that i can buy to get rid of it? would prefer something i can just get from pep boys so i can fix it without having to wait for shipping.
these are my wheels.

caked on brake dust can be a pain in the *** to remove, even when using the best wheel cleaners on the market.
You could do what was already suggested above and clay the area or keep hitting it with the sonax, letting it dwell and agitating it with a brush. It may take several tries to get the results you're looking for.
after that best thing you can do is put a sealant on the rims to make any future cleaning easier.
