I have been told that SV is what they use on all the sema show cars. I am thinking about ordering some up for myself also.

I highly doubt "they" use one brand of wax on all the SEMA cars, especially considering the cost of the typical jar of SV.

I've not personally used SwissVax, as I'm a Zaino (sealant) guy, but in my last round of reading-up on carnauba to see what current options were out there a few weeks ago, I also heard good things about different SwissVax. My impression was they are really pricey though. I suggest some scanning of Autogeekonline Forums may help -- there are certainly some wax fanatics over there that seem to be in the know with different versions of wax if you don't get more specifics here on CL.

Good luck.

Waaaayyyy pricey they advertise all the time in Octane and Thoroughbred&Classic Cars. The price range runs from $199 right up to $1499 for "Paul Dalton's Crystal Rock" 76% carnauba formula. never tried it myself.

Its unlike any carnauba I've tried. Its slicker and goes on/off easier as well. Its crazy since I went through a Zymol vs Swissvax phase. In the end I determined that SV is more like a sealant's plasticy look vs the Zymol warm glow. I pitted SV Concorso against Zymol Concours. Both are very nice. They smell awesome too
