so when you say "Clay Waxing" do you mean Claying & Waxing? or did you use a product like a cleaner wax that has mild abrasives in it, but is in no way shape or form a type of clay?

If you just used detailing clay on it, you NEED to follow up with a dedicated sealant or wax to protect the paint.

Nice, car looks brand new. What's the name of the product you used, I'm curious.

Turtle wax makes a liquid clay wax that serves as a cleaner wax, but also removes very minor scratches and swirls. A sealant is still needed to protect the paint afterwards.

I just use the clay with a silicon based polish to remove all the road grime and such from the clear. Then I follow that up with the famous Zymol wax which requires you to lightly spray the car with water after waxing to even out the shine. It's a lengthy process, but after I'm done, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING will stick to my car and water just rolls off. I've done this to all my cars over the years and everyone always ask..."How do get your car so shiny?!"

Thanks! I use Meguiar’s with the clay bar, then follow that up with a Zymol wax, after that, I do a light spray of water all over the car to even out the shine...it takes a few hours, but it's well worth it.
