Tried it. Worked ... a little ... on a dent about the size of a penny. Took a few tries. Very painful to watch to tell you the truth. The "special" adhesive they use is BLACK GLUE from a hot glue gun. They just changed the color so people might think they have to buy the big kit. Same with the Ding King solvent thing made to take off smears from the glue (it is rubbing alcohol colored green).
Sometimes the glue will not come off with the suction cup. You have to LITERALLY peel or scrape it off your paint. That's the painful part. Never did any damage to my car, but just so damn stressing to do.
Other than that .. I don't know, it's worth it .... i guess.

I never used it, but my buddy did on his 02 Audi A6 4.2. He had a bad ding on the wheel flare. He went to a local Dent/Ding remover who said that they couldnt do it. He wound up using the D.K. on it and it came out awesome. You cant even tell its there.

So it does work. I don't have any dents but maybe I will get the kit just in case (use on friends cars if theyneed it). I thought is was just another piece of crap info commercial hoax. If it works I will buy and use it on my dads car first he has a dent.

I bought one and was planning to use it but never got around to it so I guess it really doesn't matter at this point. Maybe if I find some time I can do a before and after with pics for those interested to see how well it actually works eh?

Based on your post and seeing it advertised on a Target ad, I went out to investigate Dent King.
I had a few dings (bastards!) on a door panel of my RX so I thought why not.
The verdict: Works as advertised. It states on the box itself that D.K. will take dings and dents out to "nearly" perfect condition i.e. 93-98% (I believe that's what it states on the box).
You have to apply it more than once and eventually the ding/dent works out to almost unnoticeable. I can still see it but I also know its there. Anyone else probably won't.
So, for three dings that probably would've cost over $100 bucks, I got off cheap. Sure the pros would've done a much better job, but I'll live. I still may take it in and have a pro clean up the dings.
So, if you've got time to mess around and you're not afraid of hearing your Lexus metal go "POP" - I say go for it.

I used the Ding King this past weekend on the family van and was quite pleased. I had three "nickle-dime" size dings and found that one completely vanished. The other two improved greatly, but will need a few more pulls. Didn't damage the finish and was easy to use...just follow instructions. I may try on my LS400 after I try a few more times on the van. Anyway, my experience was good and wife was pleased.
