How do you protect your paint?
Just wondering what you guys are doing out there to protect your new 3IS' paint.
How often are you washing it?
What products do you use to wash it?(Type of soap/ towels)
What protective paint products are you using?
Would you consider our new car paint to be completely cured and dried?

- All the products I use you can buy at a local store.
- I use alot of Mircofiber towels
- pre- wash gel (http://www.rainx.com/product/bug-and.../#.UlNAx4akqAg)
- soap (http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...mate-wash-wax/)
- quick detailer (http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...detailertrade/)
- Wheel Cleaner - http://www.mothers.com/02_products/05924.html
- Interior Cleaner -
What protective paint products are you using?
i got a Teflon sealant put on my car. It was about 170 for wash, polish and the sealant but I had a coupon.
they used Chemical Guys sealant (http://www.autogeek.net/chemical-guys-jetseal-109.html)
*But if you have the spare cash take a look at the Opti-Coat paint protection. I would recommend this being done by a professional though

Your paint is cured before the car even leaves the factory....
I would highly suggest having a paint coating applied to the entire car for maximum protection and resistance to light scratches/swirl marks. Paint coatings provide YEARS of protection instead of weeks or months like traditional waxes or sealants. They are extremely hydrophobic, harder than paint (which provides light scratch resistance), way thicker than any other form of protection so contaminates like bird bombs and bug splatter do not reach your paint and create permanent damage, they resist dust and dirt so the car stays cleaner for a longer period of time, they make washing a breeze because contaminates simply don't stick as well, etc etc.
I would highly recommend CQuartz Finest coating. It is the most exclusive coating in the world and is only available through a select network of authorized installers. There are several in California. This coating is the glossiest coating on the market and will provide excellent protection and make ease of maintenance much easier!
Check out www.CQFinest.com for more information and to find an installer nearest to you.

Some more info (try searching the forum... a TON of info already exists):
Is your paint protected?? Here's an article I wrote to help you decide!
Wheel Cleaner Reviews
As far as the products mentioned above... I would steer clear of the majority of products you can find at your local auto parts store... many of them can do more harm than good.
Check out www.DetailedImage.com or www.DetailersDomain.com to find some truly professional grade products.
