A very brief little video experimentation from this weekend. Thought it turned out kinda cool... want to make some longer ones documenting the process in the future

Thank you, and here is an updated pic. I had the wheels powder coated a couple of weeks ago.

And since this is a Lexus site, a pic of the wife's F Sport for good measure...LOL

The Detail shop here in Greensboro NC gave me a quote for $450 Bucks to detail my car. Sad thing is, my car looks great to me like it is. No swirls at all. But, They do know more than I do. I have a Mercury Metallic Lexus LS460L and again, it looks Great. Hmmmmm...... I need to get a second opinion I guess. All I wanted was a wax job.

Testing out some gtechniq liquid crystal on top of carpro uk... who knew jack had a sweet spot for cars.

So far

gtechniq liquid crystal, much easier to use, no streaking, much slicker feeling

Reload, tackier, some may experience streaking but I prefer the tacky feeling.

User experience was a tad bit better with gtechniq, but prefer reload although user experience goes to gtechniq

Just did a full detail on my Obsidian IS 350 AWD over the weekend.
Black is such a PIA to maintain but oh so rewarding...

Trade some of the gtechniq for the cure?

Honestly, Gyeon products are so expensive, I kind of get the feeling that Im paying for the brand name opposed to the performance? There is so much hype on the Gyeon though everyone goes crazy for it. I normally go for products that work rather than name brands. I know Gyeon is a well known brand and Im sure it performs, but after trying out optimum gloss coat, cquartz, cquartz uk, and gtechniq crystal serum light. Im going to stop there and stick to carpro uk, and reload combo I been very happy with the results and its been stellar for me with the sacrifice of a little user experience.
