Default wheel polish help?

im in the middle of polishing my wheels but i cant get certain parts to polish on the lip only, the face is polishing no problem. im using meguiars all metal polish. ive sanded from 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000 ,1500, and finally 2000 with 3m automotive wetordry.

are these parts the places i missed when sanding? do i have to sand through it again :/ ?

heres a pic, just cause.

okay so i got the lip all settled, now can anyone recommend some type of polishing tool that can get between the lip and the face of a 2 piece work meister? hoping i dont have to do it by hand, i heard it takes a LONG time to get it to shine that way

when I polished the lip on my rims I had to do it by hand because I could not find anything to fit on it so I just used white diamond metal polish with some elbow grease.

that just looks like wheel polish that was not rubbed hard enough.. for me i usually remove my faces as its only 40 bolts and release the air from the tire so it dosnt push the inner and outers apart. then i have full access to the whole lip. but i use a air drill wheel a polishing wheel and adams #1 and #2 after using a cheaper brand to "cut"
