Default Nick on car...

Hello, this may or may not be in the right section.

I recently backed up into a car and now i'm left with a circular imprint. I know how terribly stupid of me.

it went slightly deep where I can see the black plastic?

Is this fixable without a full repaint? It's a new car, so i'm quite worried.

I will take pictures soon if that'll help.

it's plastic so the paint has been cracked and the plastic stretched. The best you can do is touch it up, you may even need to fill it first.

A pro detailer that does scratch repairs can probably help you disguise it. You can try to do it yourself but it's best to leave it to those with experience wetsanding and buffing.

The alternative is to get a repaint or live with it.

Where on the car is it? The bumper?

The fact that you have a crater effect doesn't help the cause. The only thing you can do at this point is to touch up the area where the black bumper is showing. I don't recommend sanding down the raised edges.

Your bumper may only need to be adjusted. Just uninstall it and check.

Should I pick up the touch up paint from sewell? Or just any white touch up paint since its a small area?
How about buffing the area?
