windshield washer only protects to 0 degrees F.... but I'm driving to city 25 below 0
I'm confused because I haven't lived in frigid weather...
All the auto parts stores, dealerships, and even Walmart only sell windshield washer fluids that
are rated down to 0 degrees F. I assume this means they'll freeze below 0?
I'm making a road trip to Minnesota next week and the temperature forecast is as low as 25
degree below 0.. and sometimes even colder.
What can I do to ensure that my windshield fluid reservoir, hoses, and nozzles don't freeze up?

As soon as you start getting further north, look for the washer fluild that is good to -30. I use one from Peak that is purple and Prestone makes one that is yellow. Start mixing that in with yours. You can try to drain some of yours before the trip to make more room for the -30 fluid. Prestone also makes an add-in that will boost your fluid an additional -20, I have used that before and it helps.
