Unhappy removing emblems?

I am trying to take off my Lexus tag and a dealer tag, however I do not want to damage the paint, any ideas?

For the lexus tag you could try a piece of fishing line or dental floss.
For the Dealer sticker,if you could get a corner to peel up get some goo gone at wal-mart or any parts store it will desolve the glue.

Unhappy

Thanks for the input. I took the dealer tag off, it was just like the Lexus tag. When I took it off it left a very hard adhesive in spots that I can't remove.
Will Goo be gone take that off with out damaging the paint?

my emblems were stolen several months ago...left a nice ugly grey adhesive mark. goo gone will NOT help much, but contrary to what some may think, won't hurt much either. I ended up scraping and scratching away at the stuff...my nails were chipped and sticky by the end. I used alcohol, goo gone, bug/tar remover...nothing seemed to be the perfect product. i ended up putting the new emblems on, on top of the old adhesive that was still left, which i didnt wanna do. but if you DO decide to use a harsh abrasive type product, make sure you follow up w/ a full polish/wax routine afterwards. good luck.

Did you try wd-40, It will remove some glues and will not hurt the paint, or maybe heat the glue up with a hair dryer to soften the glue.

MEZOOM - Since you mounted the emblems on top of the old adhesive, how did that work out? Are you happy with it? Thanks!

yes, i was happy with the new emblems. since both front and back were stolen, it was double pain in the butt...i believe the trunk one went on a bit better than the hood one, but thats just on my ES. i just had to press down really hard for a minute to get it on right.
