Default How to clean plastic grilles?

Just curious how you pros or advanced amatures deal with this. My IS350 has a lower plastic honeycomb grille and an upper plastic grille, my family car (Mazda CX-9) has a sizeable plastic honeycomb grille. Washing these kinds of grilles with a standard sheepskin wash mitt doesn't really get into the nooks and crannies of the grille, which in the case of bug-guts sometimes doesn't cut it.

I've been tempted to buy a boar's hair wheel brush for the grilles (and use it only for the grill areas); I think that would be a quick effective way to deal with the plastic. I know my cars don't have near as much grille surface area as say, any newer Audi with the "fishmouth" (waterfall) grille, or a 3rd gen Lexus IS with the "predator" grille. So some of you who frequent this forum deal with a-lot more grille than I do, what do you use?

An all purpose brush and small boars hair brush will definitely help with general cleaning.

If you really want to get in between each honeycomb section, I find the mini EZ Detail Brush and the small wheel woolie work great.

Thanks Zach, I had hoped you would chime in! The all-purpose exterior brush is definately a better priced option compared to the boar's hair, I'll pick one up next time I order from DI.
