I purchased this product after reading the recommendations on this board. I used it on one wheel and realized that the product of course will get on the rotors as well as the wheels. I was wondering if this is safe or will damage the surface of the rotors? Do you folks spray this on the rotors as well or cover/protect the rotors before spraying on to the wheels?

You have nothing to worry about. You will get surface rust relatively quickly, but that will easily come off when you drive the car.

do not worry. your rotors will be fine if the get sprayed.

Totally fine on normal rotors...

If surface rust bothers you, a somewhat new product is Hyde's RustStopper Serum. This will eliminate the rust issue with rotors after washing your car. Pretty cool stuff.
