How bad are these scratches on my car?

Default How bad are these scratches on my car?

So angry at myself... Didn't see the pole and I reversed into it going less than 5 mph in a very tight parking lot. I'm pretty sure if I do go to a shop, they will charge me more than $800 to fix this and spending money right now is tight.

Trying to fix it myself, getting some sandpaper, Meguiar's M105 Mirror Glaze Ultra-Cut Compound, polisher, same paint matching my car. What else would i need?

you might get away with buffing out the white marks. But, the black marks have to be touched up as all the paint is gone and only the plastic is exposed. if you want it to look perfect, youll need a repaint. its not too big of a deal really. bumpers are commonly resprayed. just be glad you didn't hurt the body itself.

Yeah just get them to respray the entire bumper.

I think you need to respray the entire rear bumper. I don't think it will cost $800. It will be around $300-500 range.
