Got a 2k2 GS3 Sport Design with perforated leather seats. Tried to use the Lexus leather paste, but noticed residue in the holes. Any suggestions on upkeeping/cleaning perforated leather seats?

If you wish to clean and condition perforated leather, you must use a liquid cleaner or conditioner, like Lexol, Pinnacle, or Meguiar's Gold Class.
An applicator that absorbs the liquid is best, like a terrycloth applicator. I see these in 2-packs and 4-packs in auto stores and auto departments at wal-mart, target, etc.
Cleaning: Dampen a clean cotton towel and the the applicator pad with water, and carefully pour a teaspoon of cleaner into the pad and work the leather lightly. Most cleaners will foam. Wipe the foam away with the clean damp towel. Continue until the perforations are clean. Allow to dry for 10 minutes and move on to conditioning. Later rinse the this applicator well with clean water, squeeze it out and let it dry.
Conditioning:
Work the conditioner liquid into the applicator well and lightly rub the applicator over the surface of the leather, being careful not to push the liquid into the perforations. Condition all the solid leather panels, too. Keep this applicator in a marked ziplock baggie so the conditioner doesn't dry out.
