how about BK? go to Wash Express on Mcdonald ave. your car is washed and dried by hand inside of a warehouse type setting. 2390 Mcdonald ave, right next door to 180 Customs, you can chill in the lounge or stand there and watch them, or go next door to the diner and get the best egg white sandwich on the planet. they do good work, the owners are good people.

What's the average cost of a detailing session and what does it entail?

That is a very loaded question that is almost impossible to answer as the term "detailing" is very loosely defined.

To many people, a detail is simply a good wash and a nice layer of wax as well as a basic interior cleaning... to many of us, however, a real detail is a process that sometimes takes several days to complete and includes an incredibly thorough cleaning and decontamination process, followed by a careful paint correction and polishing process, and finally includes some type of paint protection (ie a wax, sealant, or ceramic paint coating). Then smaller details such as polishing exhaust tips, dressing tires, restoring trim, etc etc are also taken care of properly as is the interior to some level.

Pricing not only varies greatly depending on the level of service that will be performed & size of vehicle, but also with your geographical location as the market in NY may be much different than the market in the midwest.

As a point of reference, my detailing packages can range from around $450 to over $2,000.
