Default black again tire gloss

After reading the information area of our forum and getting educated on tire care, I am still left with questions. The article said the best tire gloss is Black Again. I could not find that at any local store. So,if anyone uses this, please give testimony to the product and possibly provide me with a link for the right stuff. I found it on the internet, but it says "trim restorer". This leaves me wondering if I found the right thing.

Let me know, I need to make my new ECSTA Supras look nice on my new tt wheels

Thanks
Tim

That article was written in 1999 and referred to the original formula of Black Again...which was discontinued in 1999, too. There are a few products like this. New formula Blacl again, Forever Black, and Eagle One Black Trim Restorer. They are all non-silicone dyes.

I use Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance tire gel. Long lasting. Get it at Target.
It's available in a natural finish shine as well as a high gloss shine.

So in your opinion is the new formula Black Again still probably the best thing for tires? And even though it says trim restorer, it is suitable for tires, right?

And does the Meguiars that you use have UV protection in it?

Thanks

Default According to Meguiar's product info...

It states;

Endurance also contains a breakthrough antiozonant that helps prevent tires from turning brown.
FWIW, their Vinyl & Rubber treatment product states it contains UV 40, however, the Endurance says nothing about UV40 , only the special additive stated above.

What's best for tires? That's up to the individual.

I use Meg's Endurance. It is the best for me...until I find something better.

I believe G-man uses Zaino Z-16. There are so many brands to consider and types of finish that are desirable, it's hard to say whats best. Most name brand products provide protection and the looks that they advertise. Aerosol sprays, pump sprays, gels, lotions...you name it. Just start with a clean tire.

Here's a CL poll on tire dressings. The numerous replies demonstrate that taste in tire dressings is wide and varied.

Geez, there's even this stuff. But I have no experience with it:

Good luck.

I don't believe there exists a "best" in this idiom. It's all very subjective .

FWIW I have and still do use Endurance on some of my customer's cars, as well as the Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss (Z16) Daddy-O mentioned. Different strokes for different folks.
