Rubber Grease
Hey guys.
Just wondering if anyone here uses rubber grease to protect their rubbers. I saw it once on a 4x4 forum and tried to look around but found mostly industrial applications or info for brake components or dust sheilds etc, not so much sunroof rubbers/door rubbers etc.
Thanks.

You should NOT put anything that is petroleum based on rubber seals/stripping. It will deteriorate the rubber prematurely.

The rubber grease I use is glycol based Toyota brand. It's for caliper pistons and slide pins but no reason you can't put it on other rubber parts.

+1 on 303 protectant.
I have used 303 protectant on pretty much all interior surface, and any other parts that are rubbers for 3 years. I re-apply this every 1-2 months. Even though my cars are parked outside 24/7 under hot sun in California, all interior, trims, rubber etc still look brand new Actually, they look more glossy than brand new parts.
