What is this yellow mark?
Found it when I was washing the car. It wouldn't come off. Do I wax it? Polish it?
If it helps, this mark is located on the by the driver' side wheel. There is no clear bra covering this area. There's been lot's of snow and salt. Is it the salt?

I'm assuming you have tried washing it and that did not remove it?
If so, I would proceed with a paint safe chemical cleaner (all purpose cleaner, tar remover, or degreaser) and perhaps a clay bar as mentioned above.
If none of those work, you can assume an abrasive will be required to remove it... for something this small you'd likely be able to remove it by hand with a polish and a microfiber towel.

Here is the least aggressive to most aggressive move:
1. Try tar remover or degreaser or all purpose cleaner first
2. If (1) fails, try clay bar
3. If (2) fails, try fine polish such as M205
4. If (3) fails (very very unlikely), try compound such as M105 or M100.
5. If (4) fails (extremely unlikely), try lacquer thinner with a cotton to quickly wipe and dry.
(5) cannot fail because 5 can remove paint all together or whatever stick on there. DO NOT use (5) unless you know what you are doing.
I have tested all 5 methods.

I totally forgot to update this haha. But the claybar works. As for the yellow stain, I've been getting them more frequently as spots. I looked it up and a lot of people said it's brake dust.
