Interior scratches
Is silver plastic trim prone to scratches?? I just realize that my 3 weeks old GS had a few scratches on them . My fingernail could catch these scratches. I rarely touch those area (as I have no reason to do so) and I just noticed them after I had brought the car to car wash. I'm not sure if I caused them and I don't remember I could have done anything to cause those scratches.... or was the guy at car wash caused these when he was cleaning the interior at the car was. Is anyone else seeing similar scratches on their silver trim? They are pretty visible under direct sunlight, that is how I notice them.

Hmmm...that's interesting. I have a tall water container that I use everyday that hits the same spot where it says XM and HD radio, but no scratches or marks. Besides long fingernails or sharp keys are the only things I could think of to make those kinds of scratches. Not sure a car wash guy could scratch it that bad with a cloth, unless it had a rock in it. Maybe try scratch remover for exterior paint since it seems to be just surface scratches rather than a deep gouge.

I don't think it's meant to happen but you just have to accept that it did/does, unfortunately. Worse things could happen... A car wash destroyed my exterior I also have a piece of the black trim behind the Eco/Sport **** that was dented before I had even bought the car.

Brought the car back from having the windows tinted, put it in the garage then opened up each door to check for air bubbles and the pass door opened into a shelf and dented the door, sucks! Car only has 100 miles on it. Called my salesperson at dealership and they gave me the number of their guy who fixes minor dents on their lot, she said he does an amazing job. Seems like the more carefull you are crap happens.

my car also have a rock chip on the hood as well. but I'm kinda more concern with the interior than exterior because interior scratches like these are seems not repairable...

U see, scratch removers remove scratches on the clear coat by thinning it out. These things are not clear coated, meaning that it will remove the paint instead, same as the FSport wheel paint.
