Thumbs down Touch-up paint

I just recently won a auction for touch-up paint and the seller told me that the paint i have takes a 3 stage paint. 1-base 2-pearl 3-clear this i knew but when i won it was suppose to cost me 6.99 for the touch-up but now that i need 3 parts to do the job right i was willing to pay $30+ for all 3. well guess what now he e-mail me saying that they can't mix the pearl in a small amount and i will have to buy a pint of pearl ($60.00 plus shipping). what a rip off it went from just 6.99 to allmost $100.00 can you believe this garbage! Does anyone here know where i can get this 3-stage paint from, a whole lot cheaper? Thanks NEO GEO

Just buy touchup paint at your local Lexus parts department. It's a couple of bucks for a small bottle, not expensive at all. Give them your paint trim code from the sticker thats located on your drivers door pillar.

BTW, sounds like that raffle that you won is a hoax/gimmick IMO.

Is your car Diamond White Pearl? I believe that is the only Lexus color that is 3-stage. You can get touchup paint at the parts counter, but matching the interference (pearlescence) on a 3 stage paint is tricky.
