What is the best way to preserve the scratch free interior of my new GS?
I'm mainly concerned with the glossy wood finish and dash plastic . I've yet to clean the interior of the car (only has 1000 miles on it), but don't want to scratch this car before I find out how some of you experts do it![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
In the past no matter how careful, I always ended up with some scratches trying to remove dust from the dash lens and other glossy parts. Especially in tight spaces.
TIA

Use cleaner that is dedicated to the interior such as Ultima shampoo Gel, Meguairs quick interior detailer... and then protect it with something like 303 Aerospace protectant, Ultima interior guard plus etc
Do not rub it like a mad man. Use premium microfiber towels such as carpro BOA or Chemical Guys Professional Grade Microfiber Towels.
I know my whole interior is better looking than new despite being 3.5 years old. I'm super OCD about car.
