Default Removing pine pitch

While on vacation I was forced to park under a pine tree. Now i have blobs of pine pitch on the car and it will not wash off. What product should I use to remove it and not the finish?

i've had good luck treating with rubbing alcohol. Stick pieces of paper towel over the pitch then soak with rubbing alcohol and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping. Even though its more expensive, I've been told Purell works too but i haven't tried it. Wash and wax the affected area once it is cleaned.

Isopropyl alcohol works great.
