Water/Soap marks under side mirrors
This has been an on going issue in my 2007 ES350, Soap/Wax/Water marks trail down on the sides of my car under the mirrors and it is very hard to remove it. (see picture).
Does anyone have a trick or cleaning material that will clean it off easily?
Thanks

That is a hard water stain. Water builds in that joint when you wash the car. Use the edge of a towel to soak up the sitting water/move the mirror assembly to get the water in between. I assume you also get those trails from the rear tail lights to the bumper after a wash? Water sits in the tail light cracks also.
Most paint friendly way is some polish and a DA buffer.
A more commonly available way is a mild vinegar/water solution.
If you've sealed it in with wax some liquid dish washing soap will remove the top later of wax.

As others have mentioned... these are simply hard water stains and possibly etching. Paint correction will remove these stains.
In the future, you may consider picking up some of these new MicroFiber Madness Dropnetics. These are the best solution I have seen to preventing this type of water stains under mirrors, door handles, etc. The dropnetics feature premium microfiber material with strong magnets inside. Simply place them beneath your mirrors after washing to catch water runoff.
