I'm not pointlessly arguing at all, I'm just saying that when your expectations of this product are set properly its an excellent product. Its a very mild light cleaner. Its not just you that seems to have this misconception, I've seen it all over detailing forums. People post that they don't like the QID and then say they like 303 better...when they are completely different products. They didn't like the QID because they wanted it to be a product like 303...its not.
As an example, I just washed my car this evening, and I found a grey smudge on the rear center armrest, obviously from something on somebody's elbow that was riding back there this week. Reached for the QID, three sprays and an MF and its gone. Theres no difference in sheen or finish between the area where I used the QID and where I didn't...didn't have to treat or apply a product to the whole console, etc. Could have used a stronger leather cleaner but it wasn't neccesary. THATS what QID is for.
Don't know if it will come out in pics but..

sw15ls made some good points. To clarify, i think he meant that Meg QID is more for cleaning than protecting while 303 is definitely a dedicated protectant. Even though the QID does offer some uv protection, its protection is probably not on par with dedicated protectant like 303. A good analogy to paint products is that QID is like quick detailer and 303 is like sealant. Quick detailer is made for light cleaning and very short term protection while sealant is made for longer term protection and not cleaning.
I personally use Meg QID to clean and then I apply 303 as a protectant. This combo has worked wonderfully.

I received my 303 and used it on the weatherstripping, but I haven't really messed with the QID. I've been busy and haven't even gotten the D101 yet, so I haven't bothered using this.

This happens with my Armor-All Matte Finish. What I find helpful is soaking a microfiber in water and wringing it as best you can. The damp helps remove the excess better and I've noticed less dust sticking.

I'll just post my experience with how I use glass cleaner to someone having an issue with metal polish. Helpful for all.
If you use a wet MF to clean something with QID you may as well just use a wet MF and nothing lol
