The Before and After Correction Thread!!!!!
Thought I'd start a thread to see everyone's before and after correction of imperfections and scratches on your paint.
Tell us what you used? What type of polishing machine, type of polish, pad, etc.
Here is a nice scratch found the other day, not sure how it got there.
I first started out with using my Porter Cable 7424xp on a 6 speed, a Lake Country White Pad, and Meguiars 205 finishing polish.
Here are the results, looks like I didn't need to go more aggressive like I had originally anticipated.

I'm bored, so I'll add in some more pictures along with some of the products used for reference.
Camaro ZL1 Using HD Adapt on Orange LC Light Cutting Pad for a great one-step process
2001 911 Turbo with Menznera PF2500 on a White LC Polishing Pad for another great one-step process
2004 Subaru STi with Meguiar's M205 on an Orange LC Light Cutting Pad for yet another good one-step correction.

Thanks!
We've got several... the majority of work is done with Rupes LHR21, however I just got the Griot's BOSS 21 and will be adding that to the mix.
We also use our Griot's Garage 3rd Gen machine, Rupes LHR75e, and Porter Cable 7424XP regularly.

It's not a fair comparison as they are considerably different in my opinion.
The PC7424XP and Griot's Garage 3rd Gen machines are inexpensive tools that are geared more towards consumer sales/DIYers while the Rupes Machines and Griot's BOSS Machines are higher priced, higher end machines that are geared towards professionals.
While any of the machines are capable of some serious work, the higher end, professional grade tools are built to perform the work quicker and more efficiently, while also requiring less physical energy, thanks to their larger orbit.
It is like comparing my IS250 to an IS-F.... while they look almost the same on the outside, they perform the same task in different ways due to different goals in their overall design.
