I dislike Rain-X because it wears off relatively quickly, it wears unevenly(leaving odd visibility spots in the rain), and the effectiveness decreased which made visibility in light rain or mist far worse than with no Rain-X. It's also the reason I stay far, far away from it. No rain-x blades, washer fluid, anything.

Love the rain-repelling side glass... but why doesn't Lexus use it on the windshield?
