Its a beautiful day here in southern Cal and I saw a black Porches oh man oh man, although its an old Porches but the car sure looks clean. How exactly can you make a black car look like that? You guys know what I mean??? Like there is a water coat on it?

My car is black and I get great results using 3M Imperial Hand Glaze, just make sure you do small areas at a time. Never tried it but some of the detail shops in my area use a special Teflon polish as the last step...so smooth a dry sponge will slide right off of the hood!

They key to the wet look is paint preparation. The paint must be cleaned and prepped thoroughly.
Slip you hand in a baggie and rub your paint lightly. How does it feel? Smooth? Rough?
Perhaps a clay bar is needed.
Is your paint dull or oxidized? Perhaps a paint cleaner is needed.
Is your paint scratched or swirled. Look at the sun's reflection in the paint. Are there fine,
circular scratches (Spider-webbing) visible. Perhaps a swirl remover or polish is needed.
Once all these problems are addressed, then it's time to apply a glaze. It's like make-up
for your car. It has oils and fillers that make your paint look wet.
Follow up with a quality wax or sealant and yes...Your car can have the look that you desire.
