Hi all,
I've driven my 13' GS for almost 2 years and there're some minor chips on the hood, front bumper, fender, etc. Do you think if it's still worthwhile to apply paint protection? If I use a touch up paint pen before applying the film, any problems there might be? Please share your opinion/experience.
Thanks a lot!

I put paint protection on the bumper and hood of my Lexus, there were a few chips which I touched up myself with decent results. The bumper looks about the same to me the film didn't enhance or make the flaws stand out. And even if it did I would still do it I'd rather have that versus getting more and more damage.

Why not get it resprayed before the clear bra if you are going to do touch up paint first? Most touch up paint jobs don't come out right especially when viewed near the car.

From personal experience I would definitely add the paint protection film even if I had a few chips already. I have a black 2010 RX350 that I didn't get the PP film put on because I already had a few chips on it and thought it wasn't worth protecting anymore. Boy do I regret it. It looks so bad now, that Im going to have to repaint my hood. Looks like someone took a pellet gun and shot at my hood a million times.

Dr. Colorchip from Amazon was recommended by several members to touch up and fill the chips. There are youtube videos demonstrating. It is thick compared to ordinary paints.
Then, you'll have a nice finish to film over and save some money.
