Hello,

I purchased a used 2011 is 350 f sport and I noticed this on my driver side mirror.

What is this sticker? Is this the clear bra or clear coat? I notice this sticker on my hood as well but it doesn't cover the entire hood, just 1/4 of the hood. My back bumper has this sticker looking thing as well.

It is not a clear coat. It is sprayed on over the paint rather than being applied over the clear coat and paint. It is a plastic coating that is put on the protect the paint from minor dings from rocks etc. It is a challenge to put on a curved surface. I decided it was too much trouble to apply it to the mirrors so I left it off. It does not cover the whole hood because the paint damage is typically done to the most forward edge of the hood. I comes from the factory with a coat already applied to the surface just below the trunk.

my RCF came with it covering the entire hood, front fenders, fascia, and mirrors.


didn't even notice it until my detailer pointed it out.

That is 100% clear bra. You'll usually find clear bra on mirrors, hoods, fenders, bumpers, behind the door handles, on the edge of the doors (near the B pillar), and sometimes on the door jams.
