How To Properly Wash and Dry a Car by Todd Cooperider

I recommend washing weekly, or at least every other week if possible. Follow up each wash with a quality spray detailer as you are drying for added protection and gloss. My favorite is Meguair's D156.

Reapply a quality sealant every 3-6 months as needed. My favorite is Blackfire Wet Diamond or Menzerna Power Lock.

Top with a wax on a monthly (or every other month) basis if you choose. My personal favorite is Pinnacle Souveran.

I would recommend a rinseless wash rather than a quick detailer.

I personally do not use QD unless the car has not been driven since it's last wash and only has a light layer of dust on it. Once the car has been driven and has potentially picked up more dirt/grime than just light dust, I feel a quick detailer does not provide enough lubrication to safely wipe down a car.

Instead, a rinseless wash like Optimum No Rinse will provide considerable lubrication while also being a very effective cleaner. The process is also very quick, as you do not have to get out hoses, spray the car down, etc.

Have you ever tried Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant? If you have, I'm curious to hear how you think it compares to blackfire wet diamond?

Wolfgang DGPS has been my favorite sealant for a long time, but maybe it is time to move on to something new.

Looks great Ryan! These cars have beautiful paint, and they really come back nice when polished out.

Thank you for the kind words

I was getting a cup of joe
And couldn't help staring at the hood reflection

This is the cheapest car in the fleet and I have gone in the garage to admire it several times this week
