What do you all use to clean your headlights??
I am trying to get that crappy haze that builds up on the headlights, do you guys know of a good compound to use or have any easy ideas on how to clean these lights? Thanks

I recommend a two-step system with a cleaner, and then a polish. There are single products advertised, but I've had best results using separate cleaner and polish.
- Novus #1 and #2 are great products.
Available at some Auto stores, I can also get this at my local Harley-Davison dealer.
- Meguiar's #17 and #10 are similar products.
These are available at Auto stores and Marine stores. At my local Advance Auto, it's in the Marine section.
These are available from online retailers, but call around...You should be able to find it locally.
Good luck.

After cleaning them, consider a polymer like Zaino that has UV40 in it, which will help prevent the oxidation from reoccurring. Xpel, Stonguard or Scotchcal films are also good for this reason.

Thumbs up with Novus
I second Daddy-O endorsment of Novus. I recently puchased the whole kit from my local container store for $8. My GS headlamps were bad enough that I had to start with #3 before moving on to #2 . I applied by hand. Very labor intensive. Each lamp took about 30-45 minutes. But the end result sure was worth the effort. I think once I get my front end repainted that I'm gonna apply some xpel. I want it to last, and a bra is OUT of the question.
