I have both MF cutting and finishing pad. I use my rotary though and it's easier for me to finish off using the foam pad. I guess the thicker foam makes it easier to use around curvatures.

Interesting. I have the meguiars pads coming in next week, so I'll see what results I get. Have you tried the buff and shine MF pads? They're thicker than the meguiars, so they might be easier to work with.

I haven't used buff and shine pads yet. No reason to get them now that my car has been detailed lol.
