One of the things you have to separate with leather is what someone might use to try and clean them when otherwise they would have been junked, and what people use to clean and maintain nice leather.

You hear people say stories like a herd of elephants lived in my car for 20 years and 409 or a Mr Clean Magic Eraser cleaned the seats...well that was a last ditch effort situation. If you use those products on your well maintained leather or new leather, and you do it repeatedly it WILL ruin them.

Use products designed for the purpose you're using them for. If Im going to clean the floor in my laundry room, I use 409. Not on leather seats lol
