Default Painting Engine Cover

DUMB QUESTION:
MY CAR IS CURRENTLY BEING PAINTED A CUSTOM COLOR.......I WANTED TO PAINT THE ENGINE COVER AND INTAKE(SRT W/HEAT SHEILD) BATTERY COVER ETC. WITH THE MATCHING COLOR, BUT THE PAINT SHOP THINKS THE PAINT WON'T STAY ON DUE TO HEAT IN THE ENGINE BAY.I HAVE SEEN SO MANY CARS ON THIS SITE WITH THOSE PIECES PAINTED AND LOOKING NICE...........IS THERE A SPECIAL PROCESS TO MAKE IT ADHERE BETTER IN HIGH HEAT SITUATIONS? .........OR THE BODY SHOP I'M DEALING WITH HAVE JUST NOT DONE THIS BEFORE...........PLEASE HELP!
THANX

Probably the body shop has not done that work before. Many member (LXOGOOD, BLUELEX) have had their engine bays painted and it works just fine. As long as they prep the pieces properly they should be ok. I wouldnt go too overboard on the paint though. Just keep it nice and clean
